Northern Ireland Alcohol Awareness Week 2017 events in East Belfast

Alcohol Awareness Week of Events in East Belfast in partnership with EBCDA & Belfast Drug & Alcohol Coordination Team (BDACT). 

It would be great if you could bring a couple of people or a group along to the following events -

 

18+ Recovery Café 11am – 1pm on 21 June  – Individuals will be showcasing their pathway to recovery by sharing their personal experiences, with the hope of inspiring recovery for others and showing casing their talents. There will be signposting of local support available within the community and an opportunity to network with others while chilling in our Recovery Café  on 2nd floor in Jacks Coffee Bar at CS Lewis Square with free coffee, tea and scones provided. 18+ Strand Cinema Film Night on Wed 21 June doors open 6.30pm - The story of Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock), a successful New York writer living in the fast lane and everyone's favourite party girl -- until she gets drunk with boyfriend Jasper (Dominic West), borrows her sister's (Elizabeth Perkins) wedding limo and earns herself a stay in court-ordered rehab.–

Register to attend  our FREE red carpet entrance (casual dress), receive a free luxury goody bag, collect your free soft drink of your choice and take a seat to watch 28 Days starring Sandra Bullock and wait for the free popcorn to be brought to your seat. Registration essential

 

12+ Photographic ‘My Life Through a Lens’ Exhibition on Thurs 22 June doors open at 6pm – Come along to our free Photographic Exhibition in Willowfield Parish Church Halls 290-296 Woodstock Road and view the life size photographic walk through project the young people have worked on to promote Alcohol Awareness, with music, lights, voiceovers and a different experience of alcohol in the lives of young people. Free Mocktail Bar, Refreshments, Snacks and goody packs. Open Door Event & Everyone Welcome. Registration is not necessary.
