The event welcomed residents, community groups, service providers and partner organisations, offering people the opportunity to learn more about the support, services and activities available in East Belfast.
A highlight of the day was the Explore East Bus Tour, which helped showcase the valuable work taking place across local organisations and gave participants a wider view of the community activity happening in the area.
With music, food and a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere, the event reflected the strength, creativity and spirit of the local community.
Explore East was developed by participants in the Local Community Empowerment Programme, whose ideas, passion and commitment helped bring the event to life and make the day a success.
The event was delivered by East Belfast Community Development Agency’s Community Empowerment Programme (CEP), in partnership with NICVA and a network of local organisations, as part of #BelfastPEACEPLUS, supported by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
