Individuals and Groups asked to contribute to the Eastside Pop up People’s Pharmacy

This year EastSide Arts, in association with EBCDA are building a Pop up People’s Pharmacy as a part of the EastSide Arts Festival. We will be prescribing fun and creative social prescriptions to ‘passers-by to brighten their day.  Over the next few months we are asking for individuals and groups to send in contributions which we will hand out at the pharmacy in August to cheer someone up!  If you have a drawing, a recipe, a photograph, a poem or anything which you think will brighten someone’s day, we hope you will send them in to us.

EastSide Arts are also offering some free, facilitated workshops where we will get creative and make some contributions for the Pharmacy.  These are open to any groups who might be interested.  If you have or know of a group who might like to make use of any of the facilitated workshops below, get in touch with Jacqueline O’Hagan, Community Arts Officer 028 9046 7931 or jacqueline@eastsidepartnership.com as soon as you can.  We will arrange workshops around your schedule.  We only have a couple of each of these available so it will be first come first served.

The workshops available are:

  1. Happy Snapping – photography workshops with Carrie Davenport (X3 1hr workshops)
  2. Crochet and Knitting workshops with Ali Fell (1hr per workshop)
  3. Digital Ipad workshop – (1hr per workshop)
  4. Creative Writing with Jan Carson (1hr per workshop)
