The Christmas thank you too volunteers from the Castlereagh area took place on December the 2nd at the council offices.  It was jointly organised by EBCDA, Castlereagh Borough Council and VSB and included carol singing, food and information on local volunteer organisations.

The Mayor of Castlereagh, Councillor Lawrence Walker was delighted to attend the event.  He said, “The event is a great opportunity for local groups and volunteers in the Borough to display their many talents in this special Christmas Celebration.”

The Mayor added, “We have a wealth of talent across the Borough and I am delighted that we can use the event to showcase and celebrate the work of the many dedicated groups and volunteers.”
